Here’s the article I’d wanted to reference with regard to Hannah Neeleman’s business model of wringing feminist women’s natural sympathies as a deliberate business model. Of course it was a Substack article! Part of the brainwashing women have always been subjected to is that we must compete with each other for the protection—and profit—provided by men.

Geez, had to break up the reading and listening.

Powerful selections, Mark.

Kudos.

Article Club has made me realize how selective I am in my reading, not challenging myself enough to consider difficult content. It's like my reading conscience.

“Athens, Revised” reveals the false premise of women’s self-defense classes that lack any kind of weapons training; it makes women believe they can prevail against a man much stronger than they are. It fools them into believing the man they would fight would be as honest as those padded pretenders in class. As though any man one might meet would never use drugs, or any other weapon. Or intend murder.

Ballerina Farm’s tradwife is peddling similar hogwash. For all she claims godliness, she and her mega-millionaire husband actually have 31 staffers. She’s in it for the same power over women as is her man, as well as for the megabucks; there is no difference between the pair except that her body is wearing out much, much faster. (He actually boasts that she’s often so exhausted she can’t get out of bed for a week at a time!) Like any predator, she deliberately peddles to unsuspecting women the promise of a life they can never attain, based on complete surrender to a man. This, too, is a kind of murder.

Women are always encouraged to work against each other—it’s why we don’t vote as a block. These are the results of patriarchal brainwashing over millennia, costing unknown millions of women their lives in toil and much worse. Sadly, both women and men are its victims.
