It’s time for Readers’ Choice Month!
Nominate an article for us to read, annotate, and discuss
Hi Article Clubbers! Since we launched this reading community back in January 2020, I’ve selected the articles and reached out to the authors. My hope is that you’ve appreciated the pieces I’ve put in front of us.
But now it’s time to spread the cheer. November will be our first “Readers’ Choice Month,” where the article we focus on comes from one of you.
Here’s how it’ll work:
Share your article nomination in the comments and explain why it would be great for Article Club.
I’ll reach out to authors to see who’s interested in joining us. Then we’ll see who says yes.
All right, nominations are open (until Oct. 8)! Which authors would you like to invite? (My number one choice right now is Isabel Wilkerson.)
Also, if you have any questions about this, let me know. Thank you.
Article Club is a reading community made up of thoughtful people. Every month, we read, annotate, and discuss one great article, and the author participates, too! If you’re interested, sign up and check us out. Article Club is part of The Highlighter, a weekly newsletter featuring the best articles on race, education, and culture.
